Each species gets its own campaign, and is playable in multiplayer. This is very much its own, back-to-basics thing. As you'd expect, though (based on the first two AvP games), it's a three-way argy-bargy between Xenos, Preds and Colonial Marines - so no worrying that it's the tedious settings of the AvP movies.
